In order to be eligible to volunteer in your child’s classroom or school, you must complete the application and have an up-to-date CORI on file with the Newburyport Public Schools. If you do not have a CORI on file, you must do so in person with the secretary at our school office, where you will be required to show your driver’s license. If you do have a CORI on file, you may begin to register.

You must first register with the site by creating a user name and password. Each parent must establish their own account. To complete the Volunteer application, enter your personal contact information and each child’s name, grade and classroom teacher.
Remember that there are other volunteer opportunities, such as office support and your child’s special subject classes. Please check the box for each specific task you wish to be considered for in the classroom and various school-wide programs.
The Volunteer Committee will send an e-mail confirming receipt of your application. After the application has been reviewed, you will receive an email confirmation of your eligibility to participate in the Volunteer Program once a liaison has been assigned to your child’s classroom.
